Patriots fans predict new season, opening game result
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — While final preparations are still being made for the season opener and Tom Brady’s return Sunday, excitement from Patriots fans in Foxborough grows by the moment.
The Patriots will host the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday afternoon to begin the 2023-2024 season.
New England fans did not lack confidence in this year’s team and Sunday’s matchup.
“I think Mac Jones will shine,” said one fan.
Another added, “I think it will be a really tight game and Patriots by three.”
Kraft Sports COO Jim Nolan told ABC 6 that there will now be free parking for all ticketholders. There will also be delayed exit lots, where they will give you a $50 Visa gift card to leave 75 minutes after the game.
Nolan explained, “For the people coming up Route 1, you’ll be able to park much quicker because you don’t have to stop and pay as you come… For those who want to extend their day, they’ll have the benefit of fifty dollars and those who want to leave early can leave early.”
The Patriots unveiled a $250 million renovations in July for Gillette Stadium.
