Patriots Place Center Bryan Stork (Concussion) On Short-Term Injured Reserve, Eligible To Return Week 9

     FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed DB Justin Coleman to the 53-man roster from the Seattle practice squad. The Patriots also placed OL Bryan Stork on injured reserve with a designation to return.

      In addition, the Patriots signed LB Alex Singleton to the practice squad and released OL Chris Barker from the practice squad.

   Coleman, 22, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Minnesota Vikings out of Tennessee on May 6, 2015. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder, was released by Minnesota on Aug. 30, 2015 and was signed by New England on Sept. 4, 2015. The Patriots released Coleman on Sept. 5, and he was signed by Seattle to the practice squad on Sept. 8. Coleman started 25 games over his final two college seasons and finished tied for fourth in the SEC with four interceptions in 2014.

    Singleton, 21, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Seattle on May 2, 2015 out of Montana State. The 6-foot-2, 233-pounder, was released by Seattle on Sept. 5, 2015. Singleton was a three-year starter at linebacker, who totaled 246 total tackles and four interceptions during his college career.

    Barker, 25, was claimed off waivers by the Patriots from Miami on Sept. 1, 2013. The 6-foot-2, 300-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent by Miami out of Nevada on May 3, 2013. He played in four games as a rookie in 2013 with the Patriots. Last season, he spent the majority of the year on the New England practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster for a two-game stint in October. Barker was released by the Patriots on Sept. 1 and signed to the practice squad on Sept. 8.
