Patriots Pummel Jets 45-3

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Tom Brady threw for four touchdowns and 326 yards in leading the New England Patriots to a 45-3 rout over the New York Jets in their AFC East showdown Monday night.

Brady won his 26th straight regular-season home game, surpassing Brett Favre's NFL mark. He has thrown for four TDs with no interceptions in two straight wins, lifting the Patriots to 10-2, the best record in the conference.

New England had won four in a row and ended New York's eight-game winning streak on the road, five this season. The Jets (9-3) had won four straight, all against teams with losing records.

The Patriots' 32nd-ranked defense picked off three of Mark Sanchez's passes and former Jets running back Danny Woodhead turned two short passes into gains of 35 and 50 yards.
