No Afternoon Delight in Indy

Alvarez scored twice.

Trailing 3-1, the PawSox tied the game at 3-3 in the fifth inning with two outs as Aaron Bates singled in a pair of runs. Indianapolis answered quickly in the bottom of the inning with the games' final two runs.

Kris Johnson (3-5) took the loss working 5 innings, walikng 3 and whiffing 4 batters. T.J. Large and Chad Paronto combned for three shutout innings of relief. Mike Crotta (4-3) was the winner and Jean Machi picked up his ninth save.
