Pawtucket City Hall to open up, no appointments required

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Pawtucket Mayor, Don Grebien announced that City Hall will be opening to the public Monday through Thursday without visitors requiring an appointment starting on May 17th.

All city departments will be open 8:30 A.M – 4:30 P.M and will continue to remain closed on Fridays for a WorkShare Program that started on March 14th and will continue until August 28.

“As our COVID-19 rates have steadily declined and more and more of our residents are getting vaccinated we feel comfortable with this decision,” said Mayor Donald R. Grebien.

“We have provided a vaccination to every City employee through the Rhode Island Department of Health process and want to extend our in-person services for resident accessibility”, he continued.

The City will also be providing visitors the opportunity to register for an in-person vaccination appointment.
