Pawtucket firefighter arrested on gun charges, city says

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The city of Pawtucket confirmed that one of its firefighters was arrested on firearms charges.

According to the Pawtucket Mayor’s office, Patrick White, is charged with one count of carrying a pistol without a license or permit and two counts of possessing large capacity magazines.

White appeared in Sixth Division District Court on Thursday where a judge set his bond at $10,000.

White was also ordered to be subject to monitoring as well as surrendering his gun.

He is scheduled to return to court in December.
