Pawtucket man arrested after robbing Subway restaurant twice


PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Pawtucket police have arrested a man for robbing a Subway restaurant twice.

Detective Sergeant Chris LeFort said in a press release that on September 27 and October 11, the Subway restaurant at 749 Mineral Spring Avenue was robbed by knifepoint.

On October 26, a Subway employee called police to notify them that the same suspect from the two previous robberies was near the restaurant.

Officers found the suspect on Fairview Avenue, and identified him as Peter Lindley, 29, of Pawtucket.

Lindley then admitted to the robberies on both dates.

Lindley was charged with two counts of First Degree Robbery, and is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence District Court on Tuesday.
