A Pawtucket man has been arrested, accused of starting a fire in a Providence Home.

Investigators say 47-year-old Stephan McClain put an accelerant on the porch of an Early Street home.

Around 1:00 am on March 30, fire crews were called to the home for a fire and rescued a 59-year-old man who was trapped in the first floor.

Two melted plastic containers were found on the porch.

The son of the first floor resident told investigators that he had a fight with McClain a week earlier.

McClain was charged with 1st degree arson and breaking and entering.
