Pawtucket man arrested for child molestation

Rhode Island State Police arrest a man who allegedly produced videos of himself engaging in sexual activity with a minor Thursday.

State Police arrested Robert Barrie, 37, of Pawtucket for Possession and Transfer of Child Pornography on May 7.

After conducting an investigation Officials discovered and seized videos of Barrie allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a juvenile.

Detectives learned he allegedly produced the videos without the victim’s consent and has been engaging in continuous acts of Child Molestation with the minor. 

Barrie was charged with Second Degree Child Molestation, Production of Child Pornography and Video Voyeurism.

He was arraigned at State Police headquarters and held on $50,000 surety bail then transported to the ACI. He is scheduled to appear at the Third District Court on May 29, for bail review.
