SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE) – Massachusetts State Police say Troopers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car on Route 195 at Exit 8 in Swansea just before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

A preliminary investigation shows that a 47-year-old Pawtucket man was a passenger in a 2003 Dodge Ram. He and the driver, a 51-year-old Providence man, became involved in an altercation while the truck was driving west on Route 195.
