Pawtucket Police arrest resident on firearm and narcotics charges

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- Pawtucket Police’s Narcotic’s Unit and Pawtucket Police K-9 Argo have arrested Jason Colon after executing a search warrant Wednesday.
Pawtucket Police shared with ABC6 the following charges:
“1. Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule II (Cocaine)
2. Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule II (Fentanyl)
3. Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I (Marijuana)
4. Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation
5. Manufacturing/Possession of Cocaine 1oz.-1 kilo
6. Maintaining a Common Nuisance
7. Carrying a Dangerous Weapon
8. Distribution/Manufacturing in or near a School Zone”
The Narcotic’s Unit was able to seize approximately 1 ounce of Cocaine, 8 ounces of Fentanyl, 1 ounce of Marijuana, as well as a handgun, digital scale, packaging material, and $2400 in cash.
Colon will be arraigned Thursday morning.
