Pawtucket police ask for help identifying robbery suspect

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly robbed a bank.

Police said on Saturday at 3 p.m. they responded to Citizens Bank on Newport Avenue for a reported robbery.

Police are identifying the suspect as a white man between the ages of 40 and 50.

They said he was wearing glasses, a black mask, black knit hat, yellow hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police said the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash after handing the teller a note.

Nobody was hurt during the incident, police said.
