Pawtucket Police make arrest in South Bend Street stabbing

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – A man was arraigned in district court on Thursday after he was arrested in connection to a Wednesday morning stabbing.

Pawtucket Police responded to the intersection of South Bend Street at Meadow for a reported stabbing incident on Tuesday at 11:15 A.M.

At approximately 11:30 P.M, a suspect was taken into custody and later interviewed by detectives.

20-year-old Jan Carlos Arroyo-Diaz was arraigned in Providence district court and charged with assault with intent to commit specified felonies, and disorderly conduct.

His bail was set at $10,000.
