Pawtucket police search for woman accused of shoplifting


PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – The Pawtucket Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a shoplifting suspect.

Police say on November 5, a person of interest was caught on surveillance video shoplifting from the Stop & Shop on Cottage Street.

The suspect did not scan the items in her shopping cart before leaving the store with those un-scanned items.

Pawtucket police say she suspect fled on foot when confronted by Loss Prevention while exiting the store.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect to contact Detective Susan Cormier at (401) 727-9100 ext. 756.
