Prior to Friday night's PawSox game, the RBI Baseball All Star team from Pawtucket was honored as they get set to leave for Minneapolis for the national tournament.  The Pawtucket RBI baseball team, which stands for Restoring Baseball in Inner cities, will be going for the second time.

Nathan Gagnon, who hit a walkoff home run to send the team to the national tournament, was excited to see the Pawsox, but also to go to nationals. “We're undefeated right now, and we're feeling good going to Nationals. The walkoff win felt great to send my team to Nationals,” he said.

Manager Luke McClaughlin had nothing but praise for his kids. “… Kids are a great group of kids. They work hard together, they play hard together… it's a great experience for them,” he said.

The RBI team, which is going for the first time since 2006, will have the opportunity to play at Target Field in Minnesota, home of the Twins. The tournament will run from August 3rd to August 9th.
