PC’s Parker Ford Named Hockey East Player of the Week

Providence College senior co-captain Parker Ford (Wakefield, R.I.) was named Hockey East Player of the Week on Monday (Jan. 16).

Ford recorded his second-career four-point game on Friday night in Providence’s 8-3 win at Merrimack. Ford tallied a goal and added three assists on the night while winning 11-of-18 draws and recording a +2 rating. He now sits at 89 career points on 38 goals and 51 assists. His +20 rating this season leads all Hockey East players.

The 12th-ranked Friars will wrap up their non-conference schedule on Tuesday (Jan. 17) at Princeton University.
