PD: Former Warwick teaching assistant arrested for threatening superintendent


WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A former teaching assistant in Warwick who was fired after video surfaced of her going on a profanity laced rant has been arrested.

According to Warwick police, 43-year-old Kerry Thibault was arrested for making threats to the superintendant.

Thibault was a special education teaching assistant at Hoxsie Elementary School in Warwick.

Last Friday, the school committee unanimously voted to fire her after she was seen on video going on a profanity laced rant at a young man who was in line with her in the sports betting area of Twin River Casino.
