Pedestrian struck by vehicle on Narragansett Blvd in Cranston, witness says

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – A vehicle struck a pedestrian on Narragansett Boulevard on Saturday evening, a witness told ABC6 News.

According to a convenience store worker near the scene of the crash, the vehicle fled the scene around 6 p.m. near Northup Street, and police were out there looking for evidence.

Cranston firefighters told ABC6 News, the pedestrian was taken to the hospital.

No word on the condition of the pedestrian or investigation into the driver as of late Saturday night.
