Perfect Beach Day!

Your Friday forecast has the perfect beach weather. While inland areas heat up to near 90, the coastal areas will top out near 80. With a low rip current risk, and light southerly winds, the biggest coastal concern will be reapplying your sunblock. The UV index will be very high across Southern New England, not just at the beach. Tonight will be dry but clouds will build in. The weekend is looking unsettled with mainly cloudy skies and a slight chance of afternoon/ evening showers and thunderstorms. Looking ahead into next week, expect the high humidity to continue on and temperatures to top out in the 80s. One day to watch will be Monday.
