Person shot on Manton Avenue in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said a person was shot Saturday evening.

According to Major David Lapatin, a person was shot on Manton Avenue and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

No information regarding the identify of the shooter or victim were immediately available.
