Police arrest 12 in prostitution sting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Pawtucket and Central Falls Police Departments have made a number of arrests in a joint prostitution sting in the area of Broad Street.

Pawtucket Police said Thursday that the sting came as the result of numerous complaints from local business owners, residents, motorists and pedestrians.

As a result of the sting operation, twelve individuals were arrested.

Chauntelle Brodeur, 31, of 12 Pawtucket, and Nicole Hazard, 32, of Cranston, Tammy Miguel, 44, and Alyssa Maurelli, 30, both of Central Falls, were all charged with one count of Loitering for Prostitution.

Joao Brito, 71, of Pawtucket, Richard Delano, 55, of Pawtucket, Cesar Davila, 46, of Attleboro, Stanley Wec, 69, of Central Falls, Martin Landinez, 54, of Central Falls, and Carlos Bergollo, 26, of Pawtucket were all charged with one count of Procurement of Sexual Conduct for a Fee.
