Police arrest Warwick man accused of stabbing person in arm

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Police arrested a Warwick man accused of stabbing a person in the arm earlier this week.

Joseph Young, 45, allegedly stabbed a man in his right arm after an argument at the corner of West Shore Road and Buttonwoods Avenue.

The man in his 60s was taken to Rhode Island State Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Warwick police said the two men had a history of feuds with each other.

Young is set to appear in court Thursday on a felony assault and/or battery charge.
