The Prius belonging to Michelle Kwan, the wife of gubernatorial candidate Clay Pell, has been recovered in North Providence.
According to police, the car was found at 12 Josephine Street at 7:30 p.m. last night. Providence Police picked up the car from North Providence Police Thursday night.
It has been brought to State Towing Service on Valley Street. One of the car's windows has been smashed.
Pell and Kwan reported the 2010 Prius stolen at the end of February. He said he had left a key in the vehicle as he was rushing to get to an event.
In December, Pell also reported the Prius stolen, but later called police to notify them it had simply been misplaced. Pell said he left the car at a local coffee shop and had walked home.
