Police in East Providence searching for suspected package thief

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The East Providence Police Department is asking for information from the public about a suspected package thief.

Police shared CCTV images that show an older woman with brown hair, wearing a green tank top and green shorts.

The East Providence Police Department shared this photo of the person they said stole a package from a home on Pawtucket Avenue.

Officials said the theft happened on Tuesday at approximately 3:20 p.m., from a residence in the 3000 block of Pawtucket Avenue.
