Police investigate after man shot in Fall River by person known to him
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Police in Fall River are still investigating after a man was shot Monday in the hip by a person known to him.
The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. on Choate Street.
Det. Sgt. Moses Pereira said the victim, whose name wasn’t immediately released, called police and said he was shot and on the way to Charlton Memorial Hospital.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The person’s identity has yet to be confirmed and no arrests have been made.
