Police investigating after Providence man shot with arrow

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A Providence man was transported to the hospital Tuesday night after reportedly being shot with an arrow.

According to police, a male victim was talking with a friend in a Hartford Avenue parking lot Tuesday evening when he felt something strike him in the back.

When the victim turned to see what happened, he realized he had been shot in the back with an arrow.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.

Police said the suspect was described as a Hispanic male depressed in a black hoodie and blue jeans. He was last seen fleeing the scene toward Melissa Street and Barbara Street.
