Police looking for man who threatened to kill woman’s dog.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – Police are searching for a man who threatened to kill a woman’s dog after she refused to give him money.

A woman was walking her dog alone on May 2, 2018 on the South Kingstown Bike Path, Police said.

At some point, she was approached by the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Daniel Lewis, who demanded she give him money.

Lewis then became verbally aggressive and then threatened to kill her small dog when she declined.  

Lewis is well known to South Kingstown Police, authorities noted.

 At this time Lewis’s location is unknown, police ask if you have any information to contact them immediately at: (401) 783-3321.

If you see Lewis, do not approach him, Police concluded.
