Police seeking multiple suspects after early morning stabbing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence Police are searching for two suspects in an overnight stabbing on Saturday.
Police said a 42-year-old Providence man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with multiple lacerations to the back of the head and lower back.
A fight involving several subjects resulted in a 42-yr-old man being stabbed inside 883 Eddy St (Acacia Club) at 1:45am. He is in stable condition at RIH. Police are investigating, no one has been apprehended. The BOL issued an immediate Cease and Desist order for the club.

The man was stabbed after an altercation broke out in the basement bar area of Acacia Club on Eddy Street around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
Providence Police are searching for two suspects involved in the stabbing. One is described as a dark-skinned man around 6’ tall with dreadlocks, and the other as a light-skinned Hispanic man with his hair in a ponytail.
The Board of Licenses issued Acacia Club an immediate Cease and Desist order.
Police say the victim is in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
