Police: Man, 18, caught with illegal gun and drugs in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said Friday they arrested an 18-year-old man who was in possession of an illegal gun and drugs.
Sgt. Moses Pereira said they stopped Lamahrion Colson Thursday on Palmer Street after reports of a man with a gun in the area.
Pereira said Colson briefly ran away from police but was apprehended.
On him, said police, they found a black Taurus PT 99 AF Para gun in his waistband, 17 bags of crack cocaine, seven bags of fentanyl, and $665 in U.S. currency.
The 18-year-old faces several gun and drug charges.
Pereira said they’re also looking to charge him under the Armed Career Criminal statute.
