Police respond after two cars hit separate homes in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence Police are responding to an active scene on Mount Pleasant Avenue.

ABC6 News Crews arrived at the scene where two vehicles were being towed.  There were six police cars and one ambulance on the scene.

Traffic has been blocked off where Mount Pleasant Avenue and Yale Avenue meet.

ABC6 News Crews said they could see where at least two homes had been hit.

In surveillance footage provided by a neighbor, you can see a black SUV run a stop sign and collide with the white van causing both vehicles to spin out and hit separate homes. The drivers of the black SUV are also seen running from the vehicle after the crash.
