Police respond to shots fired in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Police responded to shots fired in Providence early Thursday morning.
Providence Police say they responded to the area of Amity Street just after 7 am.
Upon arrival, police learned that the two vehicles involved also went toward Academy Avenue.
A witness told police that a black SUV with tinted windows fired two rounds at another SUV.
No evidence was found at either location, and investigation remains ongoing.
