Police: body found in trash bin was homicide

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Providence Police say the cause of death for a body found in a trash bin has been ruled a homicide.
Police say that the adult man found in the bin on Sept. 7 had been dead since May or June.
He says they are not yet releasing the man’s identity, but expect to do so soon.
The plastic city-issued trash bin was found sitting in woods by a passer-by, who noticed a foul odor.
