Pawtucket Police are searching for suspects in the city’s second armed robbery this week.

Clerks at the One Stop Deli and Convenience Store on Pawtucket Avenue told police that they were robbed at gunpoint by two suspects around 10:30 p.m. Friday night.

The suspects pointed a silver handgun at the clerks and demanded cash and cigarettes. They then fled on with an undetermined amount of cash and about 15 packs of cigarettes.

Both suspects were described as wearing dark clothing and masks covering most of their faces. Clerks were able to determine that the suspect with the gun was a white male, about 5’10”, and the other had a darker completion with an unknown height.

Police are trying to determine whether this robbery is connected to the armed robbery of the Sunoco gas station on School Street early Friday morning.

If you have any information, contact Pawtucket Police at 401-727-9100 and ask for Detective Johnston (ext 724).
