Police search for man accused of robbing Family Dollar in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Family Dollar in Pawtucket Tuesday night.

The robbery happened just after 8 p.m. at the store on Broadway.

Pawtucket police said no threat was made but a gun was seen in the man’s waistband when he reached over the counter.

That’s when, police say, he took an unknown amount of money from the register.

The man was described as Black, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, and with a thin build. He was seen wearing a black ski mask, black hat, grey hoodie, and dark colored pants.
