Police search for missing boy, 13, from Narragansett

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are asking for help looking for a missing 13-year-old boy.
The Providence Police Department issued a missing person alert Sunday morning for Ramon Figueroa from Narragansett.
In the news release, police said the boy resides at Ocean Tides.
He fled on foot at Hasbro Children’s Hospital after refusing to enter the Ocean Tides transport van.
Later, he was found by his mother near the bike path by Glenbridge Avenue. Once officers arrived at the scene, Figueroa once again fled on foot.
Police said at a later date, the boy was seen on Veazie Street when it was reported that he and another child had stolen money from a car. Later that day, they were reportedly seen near the CVS at the intersection of Douglas and Admiral. Officers searched the area with negative results.
So far, police have searched for Figueroa in Providence, North Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, and Narragansett.
Figueroa is about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 96 pounds. He has short brown hair, hazel eyes, and a medium complexion.
He was last seen wearing a white Nike hoodie, sweatpants, and flip flops.
