Police search for missing New Bedford woman

New Bedford police are asking for the publics help finding a missing woman.

Police say 67-year-old Joanne Poirier was last seen by a visiting nurse at her home off Durfee Street on January 2nd.

A day later, police say she tried to get in touch with a limo service that was closed for business.

Police do not suspect foul play but say her family has not heard from her and is concerned for her well being.
