Police searching for suspect linked to gas station robbery

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Pawtucket Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a suspect who was involved in a robbery of a Sunoco Gas Station. 

Police say at approximately 2:30 AM on Tuesday, August 13th, the Sunoco located at 81 School Street was robbed at gunpoint.  

Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 5’10”, bald, and was wearing a white T-shirt and black and white checkered shorts. 

The suspect can also be seen wearing a black mask covering part of his face. 

According to police, the suspect displayed a firearm and demanded cash, then fled the store on foot prior to police arrival. 

There were no other patrons in the store at the time, and the clerk was not injured.
