A Fall River woman wanted in connection to a deadly stabbing in the city turned herself into police Monday morning.

Adrienne Brown, 37, is charged with the murder and aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in the homicide of 53-year-old Brian Jones.

Brown was ordered held on $500,000 cash bail.

Authorities say Brown was last seen fleeing from the murder scene at 477 Third Street. She was driving a gold four-door Honda sedan with Massachusetts license plate number 3HM-343.

Jones was stabbed at that address around 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon. He was found lying in the street and was rushed to St. Anne’s Hospital. He later passed away of his injuries. The Medical Examiner’s office is conducting an autopsy, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.

The case remains under investigation.
