EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Police in Massachusetts will address the rescue of a 31-year-old Stoughton woman found stuck in the mud in Easton.

Police said Emma Tetewski was reported missing on June 26. She didn’t have a phone and was believed to be in the Stoughton area.

A week later, hikers at Borderline State Park in Easton heard Tetewski shouting. Officers waded 50-feet from the shore through thick brush and swamp to get to her.

Police believe she was stuck there for about three days.
