Poll: Is issuing licenses to undocumented immigrants a good idea?

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The state Senate passed legislation allowing the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue driving privilege cards to undocumented immigrants in The Ocean State.

Privilege cards are available to undocumented residents who pay taxes, who can prove residency, and are actively applying for citizenship.

These are not a valid form of identification nor can they be used to vote.

We want to hear from you on the topic.
