PPAC announces lineup for 2022-23 Broadway season

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Performing Arts Center previewed its 2022-23 Broadway season for theater fans on Tuesday.

In the theater’s Grand Lobby, PPAC President and CEO J.L. “Lynn” Singleton called the season ‘Simply the Best.’ The season will feature 11 shows.

Tina Turner the Musical is expected to make an appearance at the theater in September as part of its national tour.

Other shows coming include Mean Girls, Six, Jagged Little Pig, Tootsie, Hades Town, and Beetlejuice. Les Mirables. Annie, and Come From Away will be returning to the theater.
