Preparations underway for 25th annual Rhythm & Roots Festival

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhythm & Roots Festival will return to Charlestown this weekend.
Some areas of Ninigret Park will be closed starting Tuesday as crews set up for the 25th annual celebration.
The community center, tennis and pickleball courts, soccer fields, dog park, disc golf, and fishing areas will remain open for the public.
Festival-goers will enjoy music from a mix of genres at the park from Friday to Sunday.
The festival features a variety of seafood, Thai, Greek, crepes and sweets, as well as wine, craft beer, and coffee.
