President Trump gives shout out to Honeywell in RI during press briefing

President Trump thanked Honeywell, the Smithfield manufacturing facility, for ramping up the production of N-95 masks, during his press briefing on Sunday.

Honeywell converted the factory in 5 weeks, instead of the 9 months it was expected to take, according to Trump.

“It’s about the spirit of this country because we said do it fast. This was a major conversion. Honeywell is hiring more than 1,000 American workers to produce 21 million masks a month.”
