Providence basketball legend, Marvin Barnes, dies at 62

It has been confirmed that Rhode Island Basketball Legend, Marvin Barnes, has passed away at the age of 62.

Barnes went to Central High School in Providence and then to Providence College.

Following his All-American career with the PC Friars, he was later named Rookie-of-the-Year in the ABA in 1974, playing for The Spirits of Saint Louis.
