Providence College to require booster and testing beginning January

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence College announced that they will be requiring both the COVID-19 booster shot and a negative test result for students, staff, and faculty at the start of the spring semester in January.

The college is recommending anyone eligible for the booster shot to receive it immediately, but the deadline is by February 1.

Students also will need to have their negative test result within a maximum five days of returning to Campus in January, classes begin on January 18.

Providence College will be hosting a vaccine clinic on campus on January 19 and January 21.
