Providence drivers prepare for another snowstorm
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Traffic moved at a steady pace on I-95 in Providence just hours before another possible snowfall on Tuesday.
Main roads and highways, like I-95, remained mostly clear in Rhode Island on Monday night; except for a few icy spots where snow melted during the day and then refroze.
A spokesperson for The Rhode Island Department of Transportation told ABC 6 News that crews would be out to plow and salt as needed.
“It is supposed to snow again. I’m not ready for it. I feel like it’s just back-to-back with snow and it’s just kind of exhausting,” Natalie Jepson, a driver in Providence, said.
State transportation officials warn drivers to be careful on the roadways, and not drive during any inclement winter weather, if possible.
