Providence fire forces at least 6 from their homes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — At least six people were forced from their homes after a heavy fire in Providence early Sunday morning.
Fire Chief Derek Silva said 60 firefighters fought the fire that engulfed two homes on Orms Street around 3 a.m.

Fire officials said three people were injured by the time the fire was under control.
The Red Cross is assisting three families — five adults and one child — after the fire.
No further information was immediately released.
