Providence Police are investigating an armed home invasion close to the Providence College Campus.

According to Police, five black men with fire arms and bandanas covering their faces busted into a home at 112 Pinehurst Ave. shortly after midnight on Monday.

The home was occupied by six Johnson and Wales students at the time. The armed men broke through the back door and stole car keys, cell phones, a watch, and IDs.

They then fled on foot and are still at large.

A campus alert was sent to students at Providence College to warn of the incident.
