Providence man arrested again for possession of “Molly”

A Providence man was arrested yesterday after a search warrant lead to the discovery of the party drug “Molly”, along with Marijuana.
Joshua Morales, 22-years-old, was arrested at his apartment on Cranston Street after the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force executed a search warrant and found 13 grams of MDMA (Molly), 13 grams of Marijuana, cash drug packaging material and a scale.
Morales was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (MDMA) and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana). He was ordered held without bail after being on bail from a previous arrest.
On October 5th, Morales was pulled over by State Police while in the company of a 14-year-old girl. The girl informed the Trooper that Morales had sexually assaulted her while traveling in the vehicle.
She also said Morales placed a bag containing “Molly” down her shirt and instructed her to lie to the Trooper about her age as they were being stopped.
Morales is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (MDMA), Possession of a Controlled Substance (MDMA), Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited, Second-Degree Sexual Assault, Enticement of a Child, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
On October 21, Morales was released on $20,000 surety bail.
He is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on December 16, 2013 related to these charges and he is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on February 3, 2014 related to the new charges.
