Providence man facing 8 child molestation charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Providence Grand Jury returned an indictment charging a 35-year-old Providence man with eight counts of child molestation.

According to the indictment, Longino Rosario, 35, is charged with three counts of first-degree child molestation and five counts of second-degree child molestation.

Officials said the alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence between Aug. 1. 2021, and Sept. 29. 2022. Providence police conducted the investigation.

Rosario is scheduled to be arraigned on September 20, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.
